Filtering Tags in RIFIDI Edge Server

Post by sriram1193 » Thu Jun 23, 2016 2:54 am

Hi All,

While configuring the Fixed Reader in the RIFIDI Edge Server I noticed that I am not able to see the duplicate tags in my console while using the UniqueTag Filtering service. Is it possible to filter the duplicates without developing a custom application(i.e does RIFIDI provide anything out of the box to filter the tags)??

Thanks in advance!!!

Is your question is there a way to filter duplicate tags in Rifidi core without having to develop a Rifidi app using Rifidi services such as Unique Tag Interval Service?

Currently Rifidi core does not support additional filtering other than to develop a Rifidi App via the SDK

Coming soon in Rifidi 3.6 (targeting late Summer/Fall 2016) we plan to release the Application Level Events (ALE) interface which is a RFID standard to enable filtering via Webservices interface. Here is a link to the implementation as a preview - http://wiki.rifidi.net/index.php?title= ... %27s_Guide

According to the latest documentation, Edge server 3.6 supports EPCglobal ALE interface v1.0, is there any plans to support latest 1.1.1 ratified in 2009? New features like Tag Smoothing would be very useful. Thanks
