Sirit Infinity 510 Connection problem

Post by prasanth » Wed Feb 03, 2016 3:52 am

Hi, I am a beginner in RIFIDI. Am trying to connect my Sirit Infinity 510 hardware (not emulator) with rifidi edge server. I am following the LLRP reader configuration session in "Quick start guide". While giving readers command initially it is giving "connecting" status and later "closed".

My rfid reader have two ports (1)50007: Command port and (2)50008: Event Port
Since i had doubt regarding port number, i had tried with both the ports and the port "5084" as given in user guide, but no use.

Please help me out of this issue.

Commands and response are given below:

The Sirit 510 reader does not support LLRP. As such, there would be a need for having a proprietary reader adapter in the Rifidi Edge Server to the Sirit reader in order to connect. We don't have such an adapter at this point. I see 3 options for you:
- You can build an adapter yourself that runs in Rifidi Edge Server utilizing the adapter API that Rifidi offers.
- Transcends can build an adapter for you. This would be a billable consulting engagement.
- You use a different RFID reader: either a reader that supports LLRP or we have an adapter available.

Hi Markus,

Thanks for the reply. According to the "Rifidi Edge server user guide", LLRP adapter works with "Sirit reader". That is the reason i tried with LLRP.
