HELP ME

Post by Laura » Tue May 27, 2008 10:10 am

Hi, I'm an interest in application of Rifidi. I've got some question:

1. In Designer 1.3 could I make pusharm works correctly as demo video shows?

2. Is it possible to insert any new elements in standard library? (for example people or other object)

Thank you very much!

Sorry for the long delay.
I completely forgot to register for our fancy new forums :D
I promise to be better on checking my stuff from now on.
Now to your question:
To get the pusharm to work you first need a Gate. The gate can then be wired to the pusharm (using GPIO).
After adding both to the scene just switch to the GPIO view, draw a line from the gate to the pusharm and make some boxes pass through the readerfield of the gate.
Don't forgot to turn on both entities.
About new models:
That's heavily documented in the wiki. The documentation is a little outdated right now, I am working on getting the new documentation up this or next week.
We will also provide the necessary tools to import 3d models pretty soon (I hope some time next week).
Cheers
Jochen

Hi, just dropping in to say that the documentation on the wiki has been overhauled, and that by the next release there should be even more tools to show you how to add a push-arm and how to perform other tasks in Designer. Here is a link to the push-arm guide on the wiki:
