Rifidi Virtual Readers Doesn't Work as Real Readers
Hi, i want to test my application with lots of readers, so i decided to use rifidi emulator. But lots of messages aren't supported by rifidi llrp and sirit readers. I run my application with real sirit and llrp (motorola fx7400) readers and it works real good. I think the emulator does not support llrp standart as need to be. Is there anyone works with these virtual readers as well as real ones? What can solve my problem? Thanks...
Re: Rifidi Virtual Readers Doesn't Work as Real Readers
Hi seckin.can,
Our Sirit reader is very basic; there are many messages which are not supported by the Sirit in the emulator at this time. The LLRP is quite robust, however. Which messages are you trying to send which are not supported by the LLRP?
Let me know and I can help you further.
Thanks,
Matt

Re: Rifidi Virtual Readers Doesn't Work as Real Readers
Hi,
I'm trying to add a ROSpec so that i can start an inventory, but here is the error message: ROReport Spec does not have an air protocol Specific EPC Memory Selector param
With Motorola Fx7400 LLRP reader, it works fine, but with emulator it doesn't. I think it's because TagReportContentSelector parameter in llrp standart isn't supported by emulator.

Hi,
We do indeed support the TagReportContentSelector, however we don't support reading from tag memory at this time, which I think might be the problem. Could you post the options you are currently giving for the TagReportContentSelector? Here is one from a project I am working on, which works just fine:
<llrp:TagReportContentSelector>
<llrp:EnableROSpecID>0</llrp:EnableROSpecID>
<llrp:EnableSpecIndex>0</llrp:EnableSpecIndex>
<llrp:EnableInventoryParameterSpecID>0</llrp:EnableInventoryParameterSpecID>
<llrp:EnableAntennaID>1</llrp:EnableAntennaID>
<llrp:EnableChannelIndex>0</llrp:EnableChannelIndex>
<llrp:EnablePeakRSSI>1</llrp:EnablePeakRSSI>
<llrp:EnableFirstSeenTimestamp>1</llrp:EnableFirstSeenTimestamp>
<llrp:EnableLastSeenTimestamp>0</llrp:EnableLastSeenTimestamp>
<llrp:EnableTagSeenCount>1</llrp:EnableTagSeenCount>
<llrp:EnableAccessSpecID>0</llrp:EnableAccessSpecID>
<llrp:C1G2EPCMemorySelector>
<llrp:EnableCRC>0</llrp:EnableCRC>
<llrp:EnablePCBits>0</llrp:EnablePCBits>
</llrp:C1G2EPCMemorySelector>
</llrp:TagReportContentSelector>

Re: Rifidi Virtual Readers Doesn't Work as Real Readers
I just enabled Antenna ID, Tag Seen Count and RSSI, and got the error. When i don't give that parameter it works fine with emulator, but i only get tag id information and it's not enough for me. At least getting antenna id information will be good.

Re: Rifidi Virtual Readers Doesn't Work as Real Readers
Hey, i just find out what's the problem. It's because my TagReportContentSelector parameter does not contain a AirProtocolSpecificEPCMemorySelectorParameter. I didn't create it because in llrp standart it's optional.
Re: Rifidi Virtual Readers Doesn't Work as Real Readers
Yep, I checked and that does seem to be an issue. As a work-around, just give all the parameters, even if they are optional.

Hello, sorry for wrong placed, but most of topics are locked.
I've started my adventure with Sirit Infinity 510 RFID reader.
I've got some problems with connection reader to LAN network using PHP sockets commands.
I got only "welcome" notice from reader.
I tried this: http://publications.theseus.fi/bitstrea ... sequence=1
page 42/43 but nothing work.
Did i need SSH2 installed on PHP? I tried to install SSH2 in Wamp server, but not work.
I wanted write simple script that will get tag data from reader and put that data in tables in MySql localhost server.
I need put to mysql: tag id, antenna info, and read time.
But unfortunatly i know only PHP, and i can't handle with this problem
I will be glad if you help me, or sell me some application for sirit that will help me.
Best regards - Przemek.
