To understand your question better:

1) Are you looking to create a virtual bar code reader - if so you implement this using the emulator product and develop in eclipse following the emulator sensor api

2) If you have created a emualted bar code reader then you would need to create a sensor adapter in the rfidi edge server following the sensor adapter api and with this you can connect to the real bar code reader or virtual bar code reader

There are examples for both but wanted to know which option above represents your question

Hi swetha,

If you are looking to create a reader for the emulator there is a small guide for doing this here:

http://wiki.rifidi.org/index.php/Reader ... ent_Stages

It isn't really possible to create a comprehensive reader creation guide for emulator, as readers are wildly different from one another. Creating a barcode reader should be quite simple as readers go, though, so it is possible that guide will get you most of the way there.

Good luck!

-Matt
